The production of Estonian industrial companies has between January 2017 and January 2018 grown by eight percent, as estimated by Estonian statisticians.
Estonian public broadcaster ERR reports on Monday, March 5, citing Statistics Estonia, that the total production in manufacturing in January increased by 10% since January 2017, with, in addition to wood products, the making electronic equipment, food products growing most.
On the downside, among the branches of industry with larger influence on overall production levels, the decrease in the manufacture of furniture stood out.
As to the markets, where Estonian produce in manufacturing was sold in January, statistics indicated that 68 percent of the total production of manufacturing was sold in the external market.
Compared to January 2017, the production of electricity decreased ten percent and the production of heat increased 12 percent. |
