Estonia is represented with a stand at North Europe's biggest business event Nordic Business Forum, making it possible for the visitors to apply for Estonian e-Residency and meet one of Estonia's latest inventions, the Starship Robot.
According to Pilvi Hämäläinen, Estonian Investment Agency's FDI representative in Finland, Estonia is a country that has inevitably had to look forward an innovate. "Now Estonia's e-Residency is already a working concept and there are hundreds of applicants weekly and Starship is cooperating with Daimler to produce the next generation delivery solution," she added.
Starship Technologies is a company that has developed a delivery robot that will soon hit the streets across the world. The robot's prototype was developed in Estonia and designed in Finland. The robot uses similar technology as self-driving cars, but are cheaper to build as they do not include the really expensive parts the self-driving cars do.
Estonian e-Residency has been available for the past two years and there are already more than 14,000 applicants. The biggest number of e-residents from a single country - more than 2,300 - is from Finland.
It is also possible to apply for e-Residency online. |
